Amazon will be opening a 1 million square foot distribution center in Hillsborough County this year, along with a second, similar warehouse in Lakeland.
The Hillsborough location will be in the city of Ruskin at I-75 and SR 674, and the second facility will be in Lakeland at 1760 County Line Road. More than 1,000 full-time jobs will be created, and these cities will see a surge in residents. Neighborhoods in these cities will most likely see an up-tick in property values as the demand for homes will continue to grow as population increases.
